WOW! After a scrumditilyuptious 5 course breakfast
consisting of 5 hard boiled eggs, 2 servings of cottage cheese with 5 pineapple
rings, 3 pancakes, granola with milk and last but not least the world renowned
plum jam smeared delicately across two slices of toast we finally set out on
our first Israeli escapade. Unfortunately our initial hike was cancelled due to
the rain. Nevertheless we were able to venture through the Golan Heights. Next
we made our way to an authentic olive press where we were educated about the
art of pressing olives and using them to make products such as creams, lip
balms, and the always enjoyable olive oil. It was a great first day leaving me
drunk (but not too drunk) and sheckeless leaving me to scavenge for lunch on day 2………..SO
WORTH IT! I <3 ISRAEL!
